I’m Elizabeth Raffel, a freelance senior copywriter based in Lafayette, LA. I have a gift for storytelling that has let me help many clients achieve successful, omni-channel marketing goals. As a “we” person, I thrive on working with teams large and small. I have yet to meet an ordinary person and doubt I ever will. Storytelling is one of my specialties.
The structure is simple. We begin with a character's circumstance, need, or problem, and we create an arc of seeking, discovery, solution, and resolution. Emotion provides the backbone of every story, making it powerful enough to draw us in and hold our attention. Stories connect us with one story inviting another. They let us shape our lives, interpret and understand our relationships, and form hopes for the future. I read somewhere that each of us is a collection of stories we tell ourselves and others.
